Ordos Protects Women Employees' Rights
November 4, 2022
To help women workers protect their legal rights and interests, the Women's Federation of Ejin Horo Banner, under the administration of Ordos (a city in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region), and the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security of Ejin Horo Banner recently held a ceremony to announce the establishment of the work station to protect women employees' rights in labor and personnel disputes. The station is the first of its kind in Ordos.
The station helps women employees resolve disputes (with their employers) regarding payment of their wages, especially during their "three periods" (pregnancy, giving birth and breastfeeding). The Women's Federation of Ejin Horo Banner, the Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Court and the Law Firm of Ejin Horo Banner provides various services, including psychological and legal services, to women employees (in the banner).
